Introduction :)

 

Hello !!!

I am a 41-year old girl (always a girl who doesn’t properly grow up despite good job and all that ..). 

I have just rather recently moved to Sweden, and sort of due to the corona times never really started to socialise myself here.. basically been just walking my dog, training and going to the office.

Then after a loooooong thought process I decided to break up from my boyfriend of 7.5 years! Our relationship had changed into a friendship, so there were no real drama, just agreed to split up and carry on our lives, he in Belgium me here in Sweden. Still a lot in touch with each other but without kissing emojis. I think that was the only thing changed in our relationship – no more kissing emojis.

So now, alone in a new country and single! I feel quite excited! Which means that I will develop bit of social life and with the gender I like the most – MEN! Not that I don’t like having girlfirends, but let’s be honest it is more fun to have manfriends... (please do not take me too seriously!!)

And to the idea of this blog.. I have three single friends, and for while I’ve been listening their fun and not so fun stories about internet dating. And after a really inspiring "skype call" last weekend with these wonderful ladies, I decided to start writing stories about their and my experiences about this fun but cruel world of internet dating.

Oh and in the end.. as I am a Finn living in Sweden, moved here after 12 years in central Europe. Hence, I will also observe a bit of the cultural differences, which I am afraid I already have experienced.. not the nice way I think, but that I will come to that later.
